Jan Kiesser is a cinematographer who worked as camera operator on Brian De Palma's Blow Out before becoming a director of photography in the 1980s. His feature credits include Some Kind of Wonderful, Made in Heaven, Clean and Sober, Dad, V.I. Warshawski, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Georgia, Dr. T & the Women, Beowulf & Grendel, Fido, for which he won a Leo Award, and A Christmas Story 2, along with television work including Falling Skies.
